lovely stay. Great communication from the host.
The location was great. The apartment was clean and comfortable.
The entrance hall in the main building is dirty and could do with cleaning and painting, but this does not impact on how nice the apartment is.

Enjoyable stay and good value for money
The host was very good at communicating with us and we had quick responses via text and email and was very pleasant. The cost of the property was reasonable considering we booked in half term. It was close to Sheperd's bush tube station/shopping centre and was easy to find. It was a short walk from Holland Park, and Kensington High Street and Palace was doable on foot. The double bed in the bedroom was super comfy! The flat had nice decor and was ideal for a short stay. There is a train line running directly behind the property (didn't bother us but might be worth noting if you are a light sleeper), but otherwise quiet and cosy.
We had to let them know an hour before our arrival (which was hard to judge) in order to collect the keys. Despite arriving exactly when planned, host was stuck in traffic and we had to wait 20mins for his arrival. Not ideal with 2 tired and hungry kids. I feel this process needs to be easier. The sofa bed was not really big enough, even for 2 small kids and one of the legs was broken. I would have given the property a higher rating if it were just a couple staying here. This was a self-catering property, but didn't have some of the basics e.g. scissors, cheese grater and only one set of cutlery per person
